Emotional intelligence or EQ is a remarkably powerful driver of career and leadership performance. In this interactive, highly experiential online program, we will explore together how Emotional Intelligence or EQ skills can be applied to overcoming large and small obstacles in our careers. EQ is a set of five skills - Self Awareness, Self Regulation, Motivation, Social Skills, and Empathy - and is the ability to influence and achieve results with and through other people.
Our meanings and core belief structures about ourselves, others, and the context we are in can negatively impact our behaviors in all five of these EQ areas if they remain unconscious. These beliefs form an inner glass ceiling. One of the most powerful ways to enhance your performance and take your career to the next level is to break through the inner glass ceiling by increasing your awareness of your unconscious beliefs, examining them, and then shifting them to be consistent with your career goals.
Two-Part Format: Core Session plus Coaching Call
On Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 at 10am PT/1pm ET there will be a 90-minute interactive session. We will discuss core concepts, apply them to our specific situations, and deepen the learning in breakout groups. This core session will be followed by a 90-minute live call on February 4th, 2017 at 10am PT/1pm ET where we will further expand concepts, answer questions, and do live coaching.

About Lela Djakovic
Lela sees the possibilities in individuals, teams and organizations and is always searching for the fastest and most effective way to build EQ and bring about lasting behavior change. She is a founder at EQED, a Silicon Valley advisory firm that works with executives, teams and organizations to build EQ and resilience skills to enhance business performance. She facilitates the popular elective Interpersonal Dynamics (aka Touchy Feely) at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and women’s circles for their Women in Management Program. She co-founded three other ventures in finance, software and cosmetics. Previously, she worked in leveraged finance and was a credit and oil derivatives trader at Goldman Sachs in London. She holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
