Why You Need This Lab

Emotional intelligence or EQ is a remarkably powerful driver of career and leadership performance. At senior levels, 90% of the difference between average and star performers is attributable to emotional intelligence. Upon completion of this lab, you can expect to have access to new ways of responding in your career that leave you inter-personally empowered, give you more influence with others, and garner positive results towards your professional and personal goals.

In this interactive, highly experiential online program, we will explore together how Emotional Intelligence or EQ skills can be applied to overcoming large and small obstacles in our careers. EQ is a set of five skills - Self Awareness, Self Regulation, Motivation, Social Skills, and Empathy - and is the ability to influence and achieve results with and through other people.

Our meanings and core belief structures about ourselves, others, and the context we are in can negatively impact our behaviors in all five of these EQ areas if they remain unconscious. These beliefs form an inner glass ceiling. One of the most powerful ways to enhance your performance and take your career to the next level is to break through the inner glass ceiling by increasing your awareness of your unconscious beliefs, examining them, and then shifting them to be consistent with your career goals.
