Women's Blockchain for Beginners : Los Angeles

Blockchain LA.png

There is likely to be an entirely new generation of wealth in the making as blockchain technology takes hold in the mainstream, as well as quite a few wealthy amongst the "early adopters" still getting in now.

Unfortunately, many of the same structural problems that plague traditional finance are already emerging in blockchain, where women make up less than 4% of total investors.

Join Gyals Network for an intersectional dialogue on the fundamentals of blockchain and learn how it may shape our future. Join this event if you are seeking answers to the following:

  • Blockchain: What is it?

  • Is digital currency safe? How is it real? How does it have value?

  • How are institutions investing in blockchain?

  • Confusing press: Blockchain in the media

  • How do I get involved? Is too late?

  • How to get a career in the blockchain space?

The all-women panel discussion will be led by:

  • Alexandra Damsker, Securities Attorney & Blockchain Consultant

  • Erin Penderson, Co-Founder Blockchain Beach

  • Nadine Shelton, Emerging Tech Concultant

  • Moderator: Jasmine Gill, Founder Gyals Netrwork

Program

  • 6:30-7:00 - Sign up, Appetizers/Beverages and Networking

  • 7:00-7:45 - Discussion + Q&A

  • 7:45-8:00 - More Networking, Close

Note: While this event is being led by women, all are welcome to attend.
